    We have a very large selection of Mantels, Slabs and Counter tops. Cut from Mesquite, Aromatic Cedar, Walnut and other wood species native to Texas. If we don't have the size you need in stock, we'll custom cut it to fit your needs. Our slabs, mantels and bartops are not all the same, therefore each one is priced differently.     Texas native hardwood and softwood lumber. All wood is milled and then dried in a commercial size kiln here at the sawmill.
    Prices reflect a 50bf minimum purchase. Add 10% to lumber 10" wide or wider.

    How do I get to the sawmill?

    M & G Sawmill is located off of Hwy 30, 10 miles west of I 45 in Huntsville, Texas. Exit 116 (Hwy 30 - I 190) Turn west onto Hwy 30 (left coming from Houston, right coming from Dallas). Approximately 10 miles off I 45 is High Oak. You will see a small M&G Sawmill sign hanging on a chain link fence, turn south. About a 1/4 mile down is a road to the right you'll see a larger M&G Sawmill sign at the corner that says "M&G Sawmill" with arrows pointing to the right. Turn right and go down about a 1/4 mile and the road takes a hard left turn, continue following this road and it will dead-end into M&G Sawmill. (It's the place with all the timber laying in front :-)

    About the sawmill

    M&G Sawmill was started in 2002 by Michael(Son) and Glen Carnline(Father). The idea was to provide quality rough cut lumber at a fair and reasonable price, which few offered then and still applies today. We have become much more than a "lumber provider". We have become one of the largest (if not the largest) purveyors of fire place mantels and bartops in Texas. Rest assured that here at M&G Sawmill, we take pride (Texas Pride) in what we do and how we do it. Our customers can attest to this.
